ITBC has worked hard through the years too advocate for Tribal recipients of National Park Service bison.

Assisting Native Nations in self-determination and food sovereignty efforts be developing four regional meat processing units designed for buffalo harvests and infrastructure for meat distribution efforts.
ITBC distributes at least 1.3 million dollars annually directly to Tribes in the form of herd development funds.
